They say some of the happiest marriages begin as friendships and that is how Kaetlin and Kevin’s love story began – as best friends. I spent this past Friday in St. Louis with this couple and literally the entire day, I heard them say over and over how much they loved each other. You can tell they are just crazy about one another. We rode around St. Louis, stopped at a few beautiful spots for photos and then went back to Neo on Locust for the most amazing ceremony and reception, overlooking the city as the sun set. The highlight for me had to be when the couple escaped to the rooftop for a little time together to slow dance, take in the day, and decompress. Thankfully, they let myself and their videographer come along. It was, simply put, amazing. We always treasure the new friends we meet on wedding days and this couple, along with family and friends, was no exception. During the reception I was photographing the speeches and Jane the Matron of Honor said something so beautifully that stuck with me. She said “Kaetlin loves fiercely, while Kevin loves gently.” That quick description fits them so perfectly. I wish you both all the happiness in the world!
