Melinda & Jerry have been a couple for 8 years, so anyone who knows then knew this day would come. After the surprise proposal session the planning began and of course I said YES when Melinda asked me to be her photographer. I knew after we talked details their wedding was going to be the perfect fall event. And so the planning continued. Venue booked, invitations ordered, bouquets made, and dress bought. But then a tragedy happened and Melinda’s maid of honor & best friend, her momma went to Heaven on September 12th. I cant even begin to imagine how hard its been and I know Melinda said she considered scrapping the wedding and going to the court house several times. But Melinda knew her mom would want her to have her big wedding. So, that’s what they did. And with the help and love from so many, the day was joyous! It was absolutely filled with so much love. Life can be so, so hard. But Saturday was proof that love really does overcome. Love fills in the gaps and helps you move ahead. Thank you to Melinda and Jerry for letting me be your photographer.
