I have been looking forward to this wedding since the day I met with them. I just knew from the beginning it would be the best day ever. And I wasn’t wrong! Brittany and Joe had planned out the most beautiful wedding day and I am so thankful they chose me to capture it. Now, I know I post a lot of blogs and you all have seen a ton of weddings come through this website. But, there are very few couples that have expressed the same kind of emotion as these two did on their wedding day. There were so many happy tears shed! At one point during portraits with Brittany and Joe, he looked over at her and began to tear up again! That makes my heart so happy!
On the drive home from their wedding Jan and I were talking about the day and how successful it was. We began talking about their sparkler exit and how well it went when mom told me a fun little story. The wedding coordinators had approached me at the end of the night explaining how they were ready for the sparkler exit and how the DJ was announcing everyone to come outside. I then jumped into action to begin lining everyone up. As everyone stood outside and began lighting sparklers I glanced up to realize I couldn’t find the bride and groom. I looked at Jan and yelled from across the parking lot “Where are they? Go get them! We’re ready!”. About thirty seconds later they came running out holding hands through a tunnel of sparkler lights. It was on the way home that mom told me she had went back into the reception area to find just Brittany and Joe dancing on the dance floor just the two of them. Everyone else had exited for the sparklers and they had stayed just to grab a few dances alone. Now, how precious is that?!
I truly had the best time with these two and their amazing bridal party! Thank you both for an amazing day!
